There are archetypal patterns that underlie the personalities of human beings. Four basic colors, red, yellow, green, and blue are associated with the four temperaments. When we know and understand our temperaments and the temperaments of our fellow human beings, we can find more harmonious ways to engage and relate to each other. And, when we study the deeper qualities of the elements and living forms of nature, we can also better understand the world around us. This booklet is intended to assist teachers, painters, and any interested friends, in understanding the temperaments, each other, students, and the world around us. This lesson has its foundation in the spiritual science, or Anthroposophy, as given by Rudolf Steiner.
