Workshops and Events sponsored by RCARA
Our annual event for 2015, The Metamorphosis of Plants that integrated the research of Goethe, the painting indications of Rudolf Steiner and the works of Gerard Wagner during the Festival of Whitsun, took place May 21 through 24, 2015 at the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center near Austin, Texas. If you are interested in learning more about our research in this area, please call or e-mail Diane Roman-Goldsberry, 956-756-0067, [email protected].
During the weekend of December 13, 14, 2014, RCARA once again sponsored a painting workshop in Austin, Texas to celebrate the Festival of Christmas. We painted the Friedwart Madonna, a painting training motif from Rudolf Steiner. The painters workded together on a group painting using the plant colors and then individual on their own paintings. It was a deep and holy time and a wonderful opportunity to develop and inward relationship to the colors.

The RCARA celebrated the Festival of Michael in Austin, Texas on September 27, 28 2014 with a painting workshop that focussed on Rudolf Steiner's motif, The MIDDLE MOTIF.
The MIDDLE MOTIF is the painted version of The Representative of Man. We will work to balance the forces of light and dark, above and below in ourselves and in the painting process. Contact Diane Roman at [email protected] or 956-756 0067 for more information.
